del element

Browser support:
Indicates a deletion, usually text rendered as strike-through text by the browser.
The del tag allows authors to insert strike-through text. If you use it together with the ins element, you can show the old and new contents with different styles.
Use the dateTime attribute to specify the date and time of the modification. If you want to attach a document to the deletion that explains why the modification was necessary, use the cite attribute.
